Thousands of people are still scrambling to get the PS5 due to stock pop-ins and pop-up consoles on retline retailers and previews, but those lucky enough to get business at launch had to deal with a few early bugs. Reported by IGN, Some PS5 owners are experiencing a download queue bug that causes apps and games to get stuck in the queue or cause an error. The only known solution is a factory reset.
IGN He claims that three members of his staff participate in the issue, while a glance at social media reveals that others are also dealing with him. When the error is pressed it looks like when the user presses Download Button for any game or app from the PlayStation Store or their game library. The software is then either shown as a queue for download or a download error occurs. Either way, the software will no longer appear in the Downloads menu.

This may not seem particularly problematic, but once this bug has occurred, the game in question cannot be canceled or downloaded to your PS5, no matter what. The game library may show that you own that game or app, but if you check out the PlayStation Store, you’ll be asked to purchase the product again.
So far, the bug is only affecting PS5 versions of specific games and apps.
