Hokey For the third time this season, the Drummond Voltisers will host a protected environmental program of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL).
From 19 to 25 March, Center Marseille-Dion will be the scene of a bubble bringing two other Quebec teams together. Each team will play four games for a total of six games behind closed doors during this seven-day period.
The cities of Sherbrooke, Victoriaville and Val-d’Or have also been selected by LHJMQ to receive a bubble on the same dates. For these three organizations, this will be the first experience. The schedule of these events will be announced soon.
After receiving two bubbles in January and February, Waltijers recently participated in a second protected environmental event at the Videotron Center in Quebec. Head coach Steve Hartley’s contingent will be in action at Rimouski’s Kolis financier Sun Life during spring break.
Remember that in the Maritimes Division, three New Brunswick teams have been inactive since November. Only two Nova Scotia teams, as well as the Charlottetown Islanders, have resumed their game since January.
