With a win against Romania, Norway now lead the table in Group 1 of the Nations League B with six points.
Erling Holland freed his temper after a narrow defeat against Serbia (1: 2 as) in the playoffs for European Championship qualification. “I wasn’t involved in the game at all,” complained the BVB striker, who was completely canceled except for one chance to score in the first half.
Haland was “really angry” about the missed opportunity. “It just wasn’t good enough. It’s just disappointing. We had a good chance of getting to EM.”
On the other hand, Serbia will now face Scotland in the playoff final (12 November) and draw a ticket to the final. Lazio’s Thomas Milinkovic-Savic led Ljubisa Tumbakovic’s team to victory over Norway after substituting with two goals.
