Emotions Day at the Darts World Cup in London’s Allied Rally. Wade was first eliminated despite nine-quarters, then Clemens and Ratajski delivered a match that could hardly be surpassed in terms of play and, ultimately, Van Gerwen almost finished in the round of 16.

In the final game of the evening, world numbers one Michael Van Gerwen and Joe Cullen fought an entertaining match, with Cullen as the obvious underdog, sniffing the sensation for a long time. The English darted the match twice and failed twice. This brought Van Gerwen back into the game again and in the all-important stage he broke Cullen to make it to the quarter-finals.
The German Darts World Cup win is expected to end Gabriel Clemens abruptly. The “German Giant” lost their 16 rounds against favorite Poland Krzysztof Ratajski in a highly dramatic match of missed chance 3: 4 on Tuesday. In the third round, Clemens sensationally ended Scottish defending champion Peter Wright 4: 3.

Nine-darter by James Wade
Englishman James Wade achieved a very rare feat on Tuesday. The 37-year-old threw nine darters against Bunting in 2: 4, in which he played from 501 to zero with a minimum number of nine arrows.
The previous World Cup nine-darter was thrown in the 2016 semi-finals by future world champion Gary Anderson (Scotland). Wade’s perfect game was tenth in World Cup history.
