Esme has enjoyed an impressive sewing career for over 50 years.
She has worked as a costume designer in major films and was the originator of Renée Zellweger, the iconic bunny girl outfit worn in Bridget Jones’s Diary and Leonardo DiCaprio’s shirt The Beach.
He founded the Swanky Modes fashion company with three friends in Camden, North London in the early 1970s.
The brand gained notoriety with its iconic bodycon dresses worn by celebrities such as Cher and Grace Jones.
Esme took on the role of Resident Judge on The Great British Sewing Bee in 2016 and also served as a Senior Lecturer teaching fashion at Central St. Martin’s College London.

Patrick Grant
Patrick Grant pursued a career in engineering for Fashion and took over the management of Taylor Norton & Sons of Seville Row in 2005.
In December 2010, he won the Menswear Designer of the Year award at the British Fashion Awards.
Patrick appears regularly on television and radio as a UK fashion and textile specialist.
The Scottish fashion designer has starred in TV fashion documentaries such as Savile Row, Harris Tweed and The Perfect Suite.
