This is a new application of Android, specifically targeted at people who have difficulty communicating or interacting with Google Assistant. Instant Transcription App (live transcribe, in English) was developed by a Google employee who had deafness. Who is this for? All this is done thanks to the mobile device’s built-in microphone, to transcribe the conversations happening around you in real time. They also added the ability to identify ambient sounds, such as: a dog barking nearby, someone knocking on the door, or a speeding car.
look to speak
look to speak is an experimental Android app that uses eye movements and gaze to select and communicate aloud phrases pre-written on the screen. People have to look left, up or right to quickly choose what they want to say from a list of phrases.
In addition, it has the functionality to customize words or phrases so that people show their true voice and the sensitivity of eye movements can be adjusted.
