Good news for fans of ‘The Last Kingdom’: Netflix is turning the series into a film. Filming is scheduled to begin in 2022.
The hit series “The Last Kingdom” ends after five seasons. But fans of the series can rejoice now: Netflix is working on a film about the Viking series. Lead actor Alexander Dreimann (38) made the announcement at MCM Comic Con in London over the weekend. with this He shared the news on Instagram, The movie already has a name: “Seven Kings Must Die”. Filming is expected to begin in Budapest next year, shortly before the series’ final season airs on Netflix.
The German actor slips into his role as Uhtred von Babenberg again in the film. Along with other cast members of the series, new faces will also be featured in the film. “It was a privilege to be able to tell Uthred’s story for five seasons,” explains Dreimann. “I am very grateful to my fans. Thanks to their support, our team will come together for another round.”
