Daizen Maeda, Reo Hatate and Yosuke Ideguchi have reportedly reached a signing deal with Celtic Glasgow. Three Japanese stars play in the Japanese Premier League Championship and have been impressive in the season just concluded.
After coaching Yokohama Marino, Ange Postekoglu has seen Daizen Maeda, Ryo Hatet and Yosuke Ideguchi play. He also had Daizen Maeda who is a scorer under his wing. The Australian-Greek manager, currently the manager of Celtic FC, has decided to sign three players to his team. Daily Record Sport has announced that transfer and personal terms have been agreed for the three Japanese stars. Scottish media said Maeda and Ideguchi are already in the UK. Meanwhile, Hettet is expected to travel in the coming days.
Hoops is also in the process of securing work permits for all three. They want to quickly register players with the Scottish Football Association (SFA) when the transfer window opens. The goal is to have three players in the squad ahead of the Glasgow derby against Rangers.
