Lahore University took the matter seriously as the video of the incident went viral on the internet media. The Lahore University Special Discipline Committee was called on Friday and did not attend even though Sanjay was not present to deliver. The disciplinary committee recommended him to be expelled from the university. The authorities decided to expel the two from the university for violating university rules.
