There has been speculation for months that Apple is preparing to release new MacBook Pro models. The new MacBooks will be Apple’s latest move to drop Intel chips and replace them with an Arm-based processor called the M1x, which Apple is designing itself.

There are rumors that the same M1X processor will be used in the upgraded high-end Mac Mini. The new computer is reported to have more ports than last year’s M1: two Thunderbolt/USB 4 Type-C ports and two USB Type-A ports. As a result of these changes, the new Mac mini should be more suitable for powerful users.

Finally, Apple may announce a redesigned pair of AirPods headphones that will be the third generation of true wireless headphones. The AirPods are expected to be similar in design to the AirPods Pro, with a shorter stem and a redesigned charging case.
