The result of the fifth Britain’s Got Talent semi-final left spectators in the fray after judges placed comedian Nabil Abdulrashid in the final three instead of nurse Beth Porch.

Today was a difficult decision for the judges as they had to choose only three acts, which would then get a chance to enter the finals.

After much deliberation, the panel selected Nabil, cyclist Wesley Williams, and gospel choir Shalom Chorley in the final three.

But in the end, David Williams, Alesha Dixon and Ashley Banjo all voted for Nabil to reach the final, while Amanda Hold voted for Wesley.

Taking to Twitter after the show, viewers said they were unsure whether the judges made the right decision not to put Beth in the final three.

When one added: ‘Annoyed Beth is not in the NHS nurse finals.’

‘Beth and Aden were definitely in the top 3 tonight. You people were robbed, ‘another comment

Still, many BGT fans were happy that Nabil was picked for the final.

One tweeted: ‘Nabil was the best by a whole mile!’

When another said: ‘Wow Nabil Abdulrashid was so happy tonight, I almost lost him.’

Britain’s Got Talent airs on ITV on Saturday at 8pm.
