Giunta ordered to file a complaint in the Court of Auditors

“The inertia in payments has led to a substantial increase in dues from municipal finance”. It is read in commemoration of the Capitoline Junta of 22 March, signed by Silvia Scozese, deputy mayor and councilor for the budget of Rome.
According to the deed, the Capitoline Administration, during the previous years, out of a total of 36 proposals for rejected off-balance sheet loans, omitted the payment of dues for more than 24.8 million euros and therefore made a further disbursement of more than 1.3 million . million euros, to which should be added more than 248 thousand euros. For late payments, the total amount of excesses incurred by Capital for unpaid off-balance sheet loans is EUR 1,564,602.64. Among other things, the Capitoline Junta has given the Secretary-General a mandate “to carry out the functions envisaged by Article 52 of the Code of Accounts Justice of 26 August 2016”, for which the administration heads the top bureaucratic structure. Those who, in the exercise of their functions, become aware of facts which may give rise to tax liability, should immediately report to the Court of Auditors.
