The Made in Erba brand Doppio Malto continues to grow with 26 breweries across Italy and one in Saint-tienne. After France, the alternative is to focus on the United Kingdom with a new opening – which began on 13 August – in the center of Glasgow, the largest city in Scotland and the fourth largest in the United Kingdom.
The city, more world-renowned for whiskey than beer, is known for its casual restaurants and is considered one of the friendliest cities in the world.
The latter seems to be more than a valid reason to open a new restaurant with a menu full of approximately 750 square meters, 180 seats, 15 different craft beers and Italian dishes adapted to Chanel’s tastes.
The “happy place” (a happy place), as evidenced by the bright LED sign posted inside the restaurant, can be found in George Square in the very heart of Scottish Glasgow. Following the model of rapid growth in Italy in recent years, Doppio Malto now has ambitions to open 100 restaurants across the UK.

Each Doppio Malto restaurant is a truly happy place, where you can enjoy a beer in the company of friends, but also meet to celebrate important moments, chat, play billiards or shoot darts.
In addition to the province of Como (recently opened in Piazza San Fedel) and Doppio Malto, it is present in Italy in Milan, Turin, Bologna, Trieste, Cagliari, Palermo, Rome, Udine, Olbia, just to name a few. . Doppio Malto summer is once again in Glasgow, focused on the quality and authenticity of Italian catering and craft beers across the Channel. Italian, foreign and obviously Scottish tourists will be able to choose between a variety of culinary offerings or a variety of craft beers. There will be fifteen different types of house beers, along with a wide choice of fresh pasta dishes, Italian dishes, burgers, pizza and grilled meats.
After Glasgow, Doppio Malto plans to open a new one in Newcastle, a university town on the River Tyne in north-east England, by the end of the year.
