ORTI GENERALI’s Gran Gala returns on 25 September.
The cows are coming to South Turin! An evening of fundraising to feed and care for two Scottish cows at Orti Generali.
On 25 September at 20:00, Orti Generali organizes an evening of celebration for the second year and fundraising with a charity auction in support of the upcoming arrival on the farm of two Highlander cows, a Scottish breed which has long brown hair and broad horns, living in the wild.
They are demanding animals and unlike classic cows they are less selective in grazing and also eat weeds. Thus Orti Generali Farms prepares to welcome a cow named Babu along with Su*vitelin* in early October, who will become the park’s hero and help care for it in an eco-friendly way.
The dinner cooks will be Orti Generali’s gardener and gardener who will prepare 20 dishes with ingredients from the garden. In the evening, participants will be able to taste and vote on 10 dishes of their choice, at the end of the dinner prizes will be awarded for the most voted dishes, the most beautiful gardens and the most extraordinary looks.

How: By buying tickets at www.ortigeneralali.it Or at the kiosk (open Friday 16-22 and Saturday and Sunday, 10-22) which includes 10 tastings of vegetable dishes for €20, 1 glass of wine or beer, participation in the auction, awards ceremony and music.
Dress Code: Exaggerated! With a hat and garden shoes from the Grand Gala.

This is an event organized with the participation of NovaCop, “GranDesco: The Food That Contains”, as part of the Im.patto project and in the area of Mirafiorisud in collaboration with Mirafood – Slow Food Urban Community To increase is Project European Fusili, Enzyme San Luca and the Foundation of the Community of Mirafiori.
The initiative is part of the European project FUSILLI – Urban Food Planning, which encourages knowledge sharing and learning networks to meet the challenge of transforming the food system in the city.
