British Administrative Elections. Johnson is nervous: “A new referendum on Edinburgh secession would be foolish”
A second referendum on Scotland’s secession would now be “reckless and irresponsible” as Brexit Britain needs unity to win the post-Covid challenge.
Boris Johnson said this while responding to the latest appeal of SNP independence leader Nicola Sturgeon on the occasion of the vote for renewal of the Scottish Parliament (scheduled for 6 May).
Prime Minister Tory said the revival of the economy and employment are the people’s “real priorities”. Not without mentioning the freedoms sealed “only a few years ago” in the 2014 referendum.
British administrative elections, postponed since last year due to the COVID emergency, are scheduled in England, Scotland and Wales, but not in Northern Ireland.
