The English national team plays consistently well, but rarely brilliantly. For many years now, the team from the football homeland has also succeeded in shooting penalties.

England likes to call itself the homeland of football. In fact, the England national team, along with neighboring Scotland, is the oldest national team in the world. In 1872, they both played their first international match. Also known is the surname The Three Lions, which is derived from the English coat of arms with three golden lions.
