Ghosts Involved: An old, ruined village is for sale in Scotland, which is said to be haunted by the ghost of a successful seer. For the ruins of the old village of Loire in Lake Loch Tai and the surrounding area, £125,000 (about 145,000 euros) has been called.
Remains of the 17th century have been found, among other things, from a church and a mill. The village was abandoned in the early 20th century and a settlement of the same name now stands on the main road.
Legend has it that the ghost of a woman named Lady of the Lowers lives in the area at the foot of the Scottish Highlands. He is said to have predicted several events such as the construction of trains and steamships, the PA news agency reported Friday.
Historic Environment Scotland said the site is “a well-preserved example of an abandoned settlement”. According to the proposal published on the Internet, the territory of a picturesque location also includes a private beach, fishing rights and a grassy area “with possible planning options”.
