From a drunken Ed Sheeran and a smart Jarvis Cocker to Adele shaking their middle finger, they have had their fair share of hell-raising at the BRIT Awards.
And, after 18 months at home, BRIT nominee Biffy Clyro is planning an epic drunkard at the awards in May.
James Johnson, a 40-year-old bassist, tells me, “It is good to have something exciting with this exciting existence that we have right now.”
“I think it’s going to be a very crazy night. Put that in front.”
James is looking forward to partying with fellow candidate Harry Styles. “I heard he is very funny and still looks awesome,” he says. “It’s not bad to see, is it?”

But the one to escape James is Noel Gallagher. “He said,” He is a small worker. “Noel is not for a gong, but the party animal will obviously be at one of the Glitzy parties.
This is the third nomination for the Scottish band Biffy Clyro. The group – including twin brothers James Benn and singer Simon Neil – has been selected for Best Group, along with Bicep, Little Mix, The 1975 and Young T & Bugsey.
Who would want to win in the British group? “A little mix. In my house, everything revolves around them. James also says he wants women to get the most nominations this year.”
Dua Lipa, Arlo Park and Celeste each have three nodes. And – for the first time – four of the five albums of the year are nominated women.
“I really think women should run the world,” James says. “We live in a patriarchal society and this is clearly not the best – and it has been demonstrated by female political leaders around the world who have handled this massive crisis so well.
“Women have a very caring attitude. He is less likely to have his finger on the nuclear button. “
I couldn’t agree more. Battle for BRITs begins…
