The new recruits will travel to the Isle of Rasse in the Scottish Hebrides to shoot in the coming weeks.

Reality TV star Ashley has a good chance at the show after completing The Challenge already.

The 31-year-old recently took part in a 1,000-km bike ride in memory of his late daughter Azealia.

The brave azalea passed away earlier this year at the age of eight months after spending most of her short life battling acute myeloid leukemia.

Ashley will face reality TV veteran Callum Best, who is more used to being on dating shows.

The 40-year-old, who is the son of the late footballer George Best, has starred in Love Island, Celebrity Big Brother and Ex on the Beach, to name a few.

He will be joined by Paralympian Jonathan Broome-Edwards, 33, who competes in high jump events.

She won a gold medal at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games, after winning silver at the 2016 Rio Games.

Jonathan was born with a congenital left foot, right leg, weak right knee, and muscle imbalances throughout his body.

A Channel 4 spokesperson said: “In the best tradition of SAS, this assignment is confidential. However, full details will be released when the series airs next year.”

Singer Alexandra Burke, 33, Love Island’s Wes Nelson, 23, and Paralympian Ald Davis, 31, were the only 12-year-old celebrities to make it through the Channel 4 show this year.
