Letia Wright serves appearances with Steve McQueen at the Mangrove premiere

Letia Wright and her mangrove co-stars have been serving the movie since it premiered. London Film Festival.

The movie based on the famous black activist Mangrove Nine has started the 64th London Film Festival.

The Black Panther star, who appeared in the film as Aladhia Jones-Lacount, jumped on the red carpet and claimed pink.

Starring opposite director Steve McQueen, the star was clearly not fed up with the restrictions of social distance in place, the pair would sweetly introduce each other in camera Will Smith style.

Malachi Kirby, who plays Darkness Honey, was spotted on the red carpet, while Roshenda Sandal was stunned by the white suit.

Letia, Malachi and Rochenda have joined the likes of Shawn Parks, Gary Beadle and Gershwin Eustace Jr. for Flip to celebrate the film’s opening.

The Small X film, based on a true story, follows Mangrove Nine, which clashed with London police in the 1970s, and a post-conflict trial following the film’s 50th anniversary.

Nine people protested against police targeting a mangrove restaurant in Notting Hill, with all of these being prosecuted and eventually acquitted after a 55-day trial.

It became the first judicial acknowledgment of racially motivated behavior within the Metropolitan Police.

Steve earlier Told The Guardian Mangrove’s: ‘You know the interesting thing is that this is important British history, not just black history or West Indian history – this is important English-British history.’

Rochenda said: ‘It should be part of the curriculum. The only way forward is to achieve a 360 degree view of everyone’s history in this country. It has been whitewashed for a very long time. ‘

Director Steve has been known for his work on A Slave for 12 years, and has also directed four other films in the Small X anthology – Lovers Rock, Red, White & Blue, Education and Alex Wheel.
