“Macbeth” film with Frances McDormand opens film festival – Culture & Entertainment

LOS ANGELES/New York (AP) — The remake of the Shakespeare classic “Macbeth” will celebrate its world premiere in New York with top-class Oscar winners Frances McDormand (“Nomadland”) and Denzel Washington (“Training Day”).

According to organisers, “The Tragedy of Macbeth” will be the opening film at the New York Film Festival in late September. Released by Drama Studio A24 and Apple Original Films.
