The City of Nice was chosen among 15 other cities to participate in the production project “Film the Future”, a competition organized by the association “Les Amis du Comédie Clube” headed by Jemel Debouz.
This 90-second mobile film making competition is aimed at priority neighborhood young people aged 16 to 30 with a special interest in audiovisual production. Twenty or more youth from neighborhoods identified by NICE associations will attend initiation workshops for direction (screenwriting, cutting, filming, editing, etc.). The purpose of this action: to offer a new representation of priority neighborhood residents.
You are invited to the high point of this project: the start of shooting. Young people, in keeping with the landscape, will walk the streets of Nice to capture the solidarity as they watch it in 90 seconds.
* “future movie” : In the Comedy Club rising figures of the Talent en Court Association, including Steve Achipo, Chabnam Xarib or Enrica MH, will support young people and associations in the production of their film. Selected films in 16 stopover cities will be broadcast after deliberations by a jury at France TV Slash – made up of professionals and iconic figures of cinema – in Paris in the fall of 2021.
