State health officials are investigating a possible outbreak of COVID-19 at a church in Nashua.
Health officials said seven cases of COVID-19 have been identified among people who attended events organized by Get City Church at 43 Main St. These events include a multidisciplinary prayer session held during September 19-28.
The DHHSA said Sept. Anyone attending church-related events from the 19th may have been exposed and should be screened for symptoms.
“We know you can be infected with the virus for up to two days before you exhibit any symptoms or test positive,” said Beth Dalina, chief of infectious disease control at the DHHS bureau. “Therefore, it is possible that some of these individuals were attending events just days before the onset of their symptoms and we think this potential transfer has occurred.”
