The latest MIUI update has brought two new modes to our Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO, allowing us to customize the smartphone according to our current needs. We are talking about “Balanced” and “Productive” modes.
The first allows you to optimize power consumption without sacrificing functionality, the second seeks to balance a good user experience and provide energy savings for longer battery life.
Performance mode, on top of that, squeezes the maximum out of our Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO’s hardware, providing the user with maximum potential without unnecessary energy consumption and overheating of the device.
By default, our smartphones usually have the “Balanced” mode activated. From there, we can switch to performance or energy saving mode as per our preferences and actual needs.
Activation of “Balanced” and “Productive” modes in Xiaomi ecosystem smartphones
Let’s mark right away that not all models have them. To activate them, you need to follow the sequence of actions below:
- Go to Settings > Battery & performance.
- Set the mode of your choice.
So we can optimize the performance and autonomy of the smartphone (for maximum battery life, select “Energy”, activate “Performance” for games, and set “Balanced” for everyday use).
