Italugabi are close to returning to success but Scotland eventually win (28–17) in the opening round of Group B in Florence of the Autumn Nations Cup. The Italian team has entertained themselves for a large part of the match. And good drama, but Scotland thanks to it for a second half, in which they bring out their experience and some useful animosity. Every stage of the game in the first half looks to have an excellent Italy so that the final partial score in the 40th minute does not qualify at the end of Azurri’s test. The two set pieces created by Garbissi are indicative of an outstanding impact from coach Smith’s team, particularly the best in ball possession and scrum, the latter being the fundamental that the Scots should usually see dominant, appearing in attack Gives only 23 ‘when van der Merwe gets a goal converted by Vier. Italy, however, is there and even three minutes later Minozzi is not replaced by Garbisi (11-7) in a goal. Poleadri and Bigi’s tests are commendable. Garbasi leads Azuzari on a free kick in the second half, but this is an illusion as Cumming returns to score with a try and Veer turns (17-21).

Coach Smith still replaces his green line with the inclusion of Stephen Varney, who was born in 2001 but with a rapid decrease in Italy which returns to the dominance of Scotland. At the end there is also some sparkling between the cannon with the cable that is only needed by blue guests to buy time. For Azzurri he lacks legs and breath in the final part of the match and so Scotland can rebound in goals and with Turner still 28-17 for the final to be replaced by Weier.
