Your mission if you’ve been hired: To conduct a program to strengthen the historic dry stone wall of the small Scottish island of North Ronaldsay.

Today battered by winds and gushing waves, the nearly bicentennial fence was built in the early 19th century to protect the 3000 or so sheep that inhabit this 2.7 km2 island (as opposed to the roughly fifty inhabitants of “humans”).
