It has been reported that those who have not studied subjects like Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry can also join engineering courses. This practice will be applicable from the next 2021-2022 academic year. Accordingly, 12 subjects are listed as Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Computer Science, Electronics, Information Technology, Biology, Biotechnology, Agriculture, Business, Entrepreneurship and Vocational Education. If you have studied any of these three in 12th standard, then you can join the engineering course.
The All India Council of Technology (AICT) has said that those who have not studied Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, which are core subjects of engineering, can choose as a supplementary subject after joining the 12th standard. Huh.
In an environment where students have not shown interest in enrolling in engineering courses for the past few years, such an announcement will increase student enrollment. According to the Council of Technology of India, if the student leaves the course within one or two years of the four-year engineering course, a certificate of merit will be issued under the new education policy.
