PIERS MORGAN reveals how a ‘jubilant’ Ant and Dec made fun of their loss to the NTA while playing golf on the same course.
The former Good Morning Britain host revealed that he met his rivals on TV in a practice match with a good friend.

Pierce, 56, was “beaten” by his close friend on the golf course, Ant, 45, and 46, on December, gave the perfect opportunity to make fun of him in his own way.
He wrote in his Mail on Sunday column that this happened before his debut at the Alfred Dunhill Lynx Championships in Scotland.
“I’ve barely touched a club in months,” Pierce says of the long Covid after battling the deadly virus earlier this year.
“I played a warm-up match with a partner at Wimbledon Park, he beat me up,” the TV host said, before revealing he ant and ran away in December.
“To make my grief even worse, Ant McPartlin later expressed his delight at winning his National Television Award.
“‘Lost again, Morgan?’ He smiled. His sidekick Declan Donnelly was even more unbearable, gleefully waving a large trophy in his hands.
“It turns out he had won his annual event, the Donnelly Open. “Winning is a habit, Pierce, you should try it someday!”” he smiled.
It comes after a long series between television rivalries after Pierce was nominated for the position at the National Television Awards.
Last month, Pierce took another cheeky blow at Ant and December and berated his friend Cristiano Ronaldo for helping him as they lined up on Twitter.
The TV host clearly isn’t letting his win for best presenter lie – an hour he’s won over the past two decades.
Arsenal fan Pierce echoed a tweet sent by the joint account of Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, which read: “Anyone know if it’s football today?
“Didn’t hear of it,” followed by football and a flashing emoji icon.
The post referred to Newcastle United’s away game in his squad, Manchester United, which will mark Portuguese ace Cristiano Ronaldo’s return to Old Trafford following his resignation for the northern side last month.
Pierce is a big fan of Cristiano and, imitating the winger, reposted Ant and December’s post, writing, “Please bury them.”
Earlier, Ant and December had exclusively explained to The Sun that Pierce was “dumb” for trying to defeat them in the NTA.
For the 20th year in a row, the pair of Geordi won the coveted gong at a ceremony held at the O2 Arena in London.
Discussing the behind-the-scenes exclusive to The Sun after their win, December said, “Every year we come and think we’ll lose it, but honestly when the category comes up and our names are read Our heart beats and our palms are sweaty It’s like the first year again.
“The nerves never get better and you never think ‘oh yeah, it’s in the bag’.”
After remembering Pierce telling his followers that he thought he was going to win, December laughed before Ant stepped in:
“Look, a year we’re not going to win it and end the race. The winning streak will end, but it wasn’t tonight.
With a smile, December said, “We are safe for the next 12 months.”
In a scathing tweet after his loss, Pierce said, “Wow! What a shock! Congratulations to Ant and Dec.
“Deserved 20th consecutive win – the way he held these jungle contenders accountable during the pandemic was absolutely fantastic. “
Pierce’s dig references his infamous government ministers’ grill on Good Morning Britain in 2020.
