From 15 October, alumni, public administrators and those involved in the social and political spheres are invited to begin a process of discernment – such as the one that will take place in parishes – marked by stages of identification (29 October), interpreting (November 12) and select (November 26). There will be two synod topics that participants will choose to complete the path in groups, at the time of enrollment: “Gospel and Culture” and “Church and Fields of Life”. To present everything – on 15 October – will be Luigi Gui, professor at the University of Trieste and director of FISP, who will hand over the coordinates of the trip. With this proposal, FISP aims to allow those engaged in the social and political sphere to experience the method of conscience and by doing so put themselves in the service of the Synod. “Everyone will be encouraged to contribute what they are and what they live for – underlines Luigi Gui – interestingly we want to rekindle the attention of alumni, regardless of Fisp’s aim be for a wider audience, and to see how sensitivity to social and political life can give back thought to the Synod”. Registration on the fisp.diocesipadova.it website by the end of September
