Now, Gers has finally landed his man with a 27-year-old man joining the Light Blues on the day of the transfer deadline on a season-long loan.
The Light Blues show an option to make the deal permanent next summer.
Jungu joins Ianis Hagi, Leon Balogan, John McLaughlin, C Cal Lwin Bassi, Cedric Eaton and Kemer Roof as the seventh summer arrival of the Gunners.
On his move towards the Rangers, Zungu said: “I have studied in the team and feel like I can come and bring my traits to help improve the team.
“The opportunity to play for such a big club, especially in European competitions, is very exciting for me.
