The English Football Association said on Wednesday that England would take on Austria on 2 June and against Euro 2021 in a pre-season match on 6 June.
Both matches will take place in England, with stadiums yet to be determined, while all three Lions were initially due to travel to Vienna and host the Romans. During the Euro, England, Group D seeded and hosts, will face Croatia at Wembley, having beaten it in the semi-finals of the previous World Cup on 13 June, then Scotland, out of the play-offs on the 18th. And finally the Czech Republic, which was in its qualifying group at 22.
Earlier, England would begin their 2022 World Cup qualifying journey in Qatar by hosting San Marino on 25 March and Poland on 31 March. Between these two meetings, England will challenge Albania on the 28th.
