England defender Harry Maguire will feature in the Euro 2020 group game against Scotland on Friday, manager Gareth Southgate has said.
“Harry will join tomorrow,” Southgate said at a news conference on Thursday. “We have to decide if he’s ready to start over, but we’re really happy with his progress.”
“He has been training with the team for four or five days now and has no reaction. Of course, with each session he attends, he becomes more confident. I think he is on a very good track.
“Of course, we want everyone to be available. It takes some tough decisions, but at the moment we had 26 players training at the training ground this morning and it’s a very good position for us.”
