England manager Gareth Southgate will send No. 2 Steve Holland to investigate Harry Maguire on Saturday before naming the Manchester United star in his squad next week.
Midfielders Calvin Phillips and James Madison will also be on the England manager’s radar this weekend as Southgate finalize their squad for next match against Wales, Belgium and Denmark on Thursday.
Maguire was controversially left out of the squad after being convicted of three different offenses during a holiday in Greece, but his name is likely to be included in the squad.

Maguire has since successfully appealed for a retrial which United insists will make him an innocent man until the new court case is completed.
Maguire is due to watch Brighton face off at Holland Amex Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The game will also give Holland the opportunity to monitor young United striker Mason Greenwood, whose squad has been given a place in the team after two men were sent home from Iceland for inviting them back to the hotel.
Greenwood and Manchester City midfielder Foden – who were both on the team for the first time – returned to England for a judgment error; Southgate criticizes the behavior of the latter pair.
One of the main decisions facing Southgate ahead of Thursday’s announcement is whether to re-select the new couple – but it is understandable that the pair will not be chosen for seniors.

On Sunday, Southgate will watch the game against Shedild United’s Leeds, where Phillips will have a chance to impress again after making his debut in Denmark.
The England boss will then watch Manchester City against Leicester, where Madison and City’s England squad will be on the lookout.
Holland Hotel Newcastle will visit Tottenham on Sunday before heading to Fulham v Aston Villa on Monday.
Southgate will be at Anfield for Liverpool’s game against Arsenal, which is also on Monday night.
