Unterföhring – Following the huge success of live broadcasts from the Rugby World Cup 2019, ProSieben MAXX and ran.de are showing even more top-class rugby games this year. The TV broadcaster – in collaboration with DAZN – will broadcast all the games of the informal European Rugby Championship “Six Nations” from February 1, 2020. ran.de also shows all the men’s tournaments of the “World Rugby Sevens Series”.

France, Scotland, England, Italy and Ireland want to push defending champions and record winners Wales from the European rugby throne in the famous “Six Nations” tournament. There are 16 teams participating in the tournament format, with the top countries being Australia, England, New Zealand, Wales and South Africa.

The competition starts at the group stage. This will be followed by a quarter-final, semi-final and knockout round with finals. It is the fastest, Olympic version of Rugby Union with only 7 players per team and 2×7 minutes of playing time per game.
