After a little over a year and a half, Muhammet Akagundz SK Rapid is back in Vienna! Former coach returns Hütteldorfer’s second team was confirmed in a press release on Tuesday.
The 42-year-old will take over the U14 academy team and will also serve as a division manager / personal trainer in the U12 to U15 division.

With Muhammet Akagunduz, an old friend returns to SK Rapid! The former Rapid II trainer will handle the agenda for the U14 team as a team trainer at the academy with immediate effect, as well as a division manager / personal trainer in the U12 to U15 division. Previous U14 coach Florian Foster is replacing Walter Knowler as assistant coach at U15.
Muhammet Akagunduz can look back on a very successful time as a player and coach at SK Rapid, the ex-professional worked successfully for many years as a U15 and U16 coach (born Austrian champions 2000) Is, as recently as the Rapid II head coach at the 2019 Regionalliga Ost until March. With a pro license and elite junior license, Muhamet Akagunduz has the most qualifications in the past year and one half have completed further training (sports management, scouting) and internships abroad.
