The Ministry of Justice, after spending 67 thousand hryvnia received from the proceeds from the payment chambers, made repairs in the free cell of the Kiev Pre-Trial Detention Center.
This was announced by Justice Minister Denis Malyuska on his Facebook page on Saturday, July 10.
“I know you can’t wait to find out what we have with free camera repairs at the cost of paid-for cameras. Because it’s so much more interesting than the final of Football Euro,” said the minister Wrote.
He said that 67,239 hryvnia were spent on the repair of the cell, all the funds were received from the paid cell of the pre-trial detention centre. Repair work was done in the cell free of cost for 22 people.

Photos before and after the renovation are quite different: windows were replaced with metal-plastic ones, plumbing, linoleum, tiles were replaced, walls were painted. A TV set and new bedside tables appeared in the cell.
Recall, according to data for March 2021, the Ministry of Justice with the help of paid cameras earned UAH 2 795 326. All money earned during the experiment is directed to the restoration of the free cells of the pre-trial detention center.
