Xiaomi is popular among users, some praise it and some criticize it. For example, many people don’t like that the manufacturer is reluctant to fix their errors because of a problematic update.
But even more questionable is the fact that the company may go half way to deny updates to a relatively recently released device. Despite availability, manufacturing capacity, Xiaomi’s purchase is somewhat of a lottery, as no one knows what the manufacturer will do with a particular device: leave it on its devices or continue to update.
Which devices will receive updates
The next version of Android 12 is in beta testing, which has been going on for several weeks now. Soon, Google will start distributing a new version of the OS for its Pixel devices, after which the system will go to the manufacturers of other devices, most notably Xiaomi.

And here it is worth noting that the build of the 12th version of the OS was tested inside this company. Delivery of the stable construction is expected in late August or early September.

And here it is strange to see, for example, the recently released Redmi 9 and Mi Note 10 Lite, as some devices released with them in the same year will still receive the update.
