Berlin Oil and gas heating are still the most common heating systems in Germany. About half of all apartments are heated with natural gas and a quarter with oil. But exorbitantly inflated fossil fuel prices and mounting pressure from politicians have many homeowners considering.
“There are currently thousands of unresolved owners who do not know what to do, whether they should replace their old oil or gas heating and, above all, for whom,” says Ina Scherrenbach (CDU), the building minister for North Rhine-Westphalia. Talk about the needs of the owners.
