This is the promise of a US start-up lucid, Chief Engineer Eric Bach was enthusiastic about the premiere model, the Lucid Air, and praised the technical innovations. He raves about self-made reduction gears or small, lightweight electric motors. “Our ultimate growth goal is to be able to drive with as little energy as possible,” explains Bach, who traveled from Silicon Valley to Germany for the opening of the showroom in Munich.
With a range of 800 km, the “Lucid Air Dream Edition range” should outperform German competitors mercedes EQS or newer bmw Challenge 7s.
