Patricio Pitbull Ballet is a difficult task at the Featherweight World Grand Prix, having not only tried to win the tournament, but also defended his Featherweight Championship in every Fed. Pedro Carvalho’s first-round knockout on Thursday in the main event of the Battler 252 when he eased the pitball dangerous task.
The fight, which took place at the Mohagen Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut, did not take long to get into rhythm. Carvalho indicated he would be aggressive from the start bell in this fight, planning to wear the pit bull down and finish it in the next round. Instead, due to Carvalho’s aggression he went into a heavy punch from the champion, everyone seems to be hiding Challenger’s feet.
In just two minutes of fighting, those crushing shots finally shut down Carvalho’s system. Pitbull threw a heavy left hook that would probably have ended the fight on its own, but a follow-up right-hander removed any doubt, causing the referee to erupt and stop the turn at the 2:10 mark of the opening frame.

Pitbull said after his victory, “It’s almost impossible for a human being to take my hurricane on the chin and stay standing. I knew it.”
Earlier in the night, Emmanuel Sanchez had a very impressive performance in defeating Daniel Veschel by a unanimous decision. He wins to win Sanchez in the semifinals of the tournament where he will meet Pitbull. The two have already faced off, with Pitbull winning the decision unanimously in 2018, but he doesn’t believe Sanchez is the same fighter he faced two years ago.
“It’s very tough,” Pitbull said of his next fight with Sanchez. “He’s more dynamic now and I like his style. I can’t wait to fight him again.
In the other semifinal fight, AJ McKee will face Darian Cuddwell. They will both fight the final trip on November 19 and the shot at the Featherweight Championship on the line.
