Andy Robertson, the head and captain of the Scottish national team, began playing football in the youth field of his favorite team: Celtic. However, at the age of 15, he was released by hoops as he was considered too thin. He then signed with a militant from the Scottish Third Division, the Glasgow team at Queen’s Park, with whom he made his debut in 2012. In 2013 he played his first game in the Scottish Premiership with Dundee United shirt. At the end of the season he was awarded as the best young player and was included in the team of the year.
In 2014 he moved to Yorkshire in the ranks of Hull City, which buys it for £3 million. From the outset, Robertson developed strong leadership qualities, which he displayed for the rest of the season playing with the Tigers despite relegation to the Championship.
In 2017 he arrived in Liverpool at the court of Klopp, who prefers to have him on the bench for the first time in favor of Alberto Moreno. After a series of positive performances and an injury to the Spanish defender, Robertson manages to persuade the German manager to position him as a left-back, retaining his place the following year, a season in which the Reds played a lot. Wanted won the Champions League.
