Écosse : Le Celtic tient son nouveau manager

Celtic FC may be relieved after getting a new manager after several weeks of talks. Ange Postecoglu will take over the position and help the club regain its status after a year of fiasco.

Ange Postekoglu joins Celtic from Yokohama FM. He won the J-League title with the Japanese club. Ange Postekoglu had previously won Premiership and Championship titles in the Australian A League. Greek managers will begin working with the team as soon as current health protocols allow. Ange Postecoglu will meet with the team in Lennoxtown and then lead the group at the club’s pre-season training camp.

Ange Postecoglu, 55, is delighted to have joined the club to play an important role. “The responsibility of leading our illustrious football club into the future is a responsibility that I will cherish very much,” said Ange Postecoglu after signing the 12-month contract. “Celtic is one of the names in world football, no doubt. A huge club, a real football institution and much more. A real story, a real substance, a real authenticity and a real soul. I know that Celtic is a real way of life for so many people and I know the demands that come with this situation. I am ready to do whatever I can to meet these needs,” said Ange Postecoglu said.
