The Scottish Football Association would have to pay some £8,000 for an incident that involved an “improper use of the flag”, apparently a Palestinian flag waved by a man. The incidents took place on 9 October during a World Cup qualifier in Glasgow, which was won by Scotland 3–2.
According to JCOutside the stadium, pro-Palestinian activists held a banner that read: “Zionism is racism. Victory in the Intifada.”
