The French take their revenge by defeating Scotland 22–15
France’s XV beat Scotland 22 to 15 on Sunday, during the Rugby Nations Cup. This is the Blues’ first success among the Scots for 6 years and is a real revenge after the Six Nations tournament, during which XV’s Thistle denied them a Grand Slam.

XV of France won in Scotland (22–15) for the first time in six years on Sunday in Edinburgh during the Autumn Nations Cup. Revenge, eight months after their only loss of 2020, the same team won (28-17) Joe was deprived of the Grand Slam blues. The French will play the final group match against Italy on Saturday at the Stade de France to advance to the finals of this unprecedented health crisis, with their group’s first-place share.

Wakatawa’s single trial

The breakthrough is clustered due to a huge wave of coronovirus contaminants last Sunday, in addition to being achieved on the green carpet (28–0) against Fiji. The Blues are currently first, but the cancellation of next weekend’s match between Fiji and Scotland should allow Scotland to climb to 10 points, virtually an Italy before a duel against France.

The solution came from the center of Racing 92 Wakatawa, the author of the only test in the moist freshness of the Moorfield Stadium, to break the vault of the XV Thistle famous for its tireless defense. Toulouse full-back Thomas Ramos, who was set to replace Anthony Bothier, worked on foot (14 points) to get his stone into a building that XV of France patiently made, a bit boring.
