ABU DHABI: The Media Office of the Government of Abu Dhabi has announced that COVID vaccination will be provided free of charge to tourists and holders of expired residency and entry visas in Abu Dhabi. All foreign tourists in Abu Dhabi can get the Kovid-19 vaccine for free.
The COVID vaccine is mandatory for all sections of the population in Abu Dhabi with official documents. The vaccine is only given to visitors who have an Abu Dhabi immigration visa, and not to those who have visas from other emirates. Vaccination is available for passport holders with an entry stamp on an Abu Dhabi visa. Individuals must present proof of visa at the vaccination centre. The call center executive of the Abu Dhabi Health Services Company said that holders of valid visitor visas and tourists can book through the SEHA app for vaccination. You can register in the SEHA application using the UID number on Visa.
This number will be available in the passport. Sinoform and Pfizer vaccines are available in Abu Dhabi for visitors and tourists alike. In the UAE, the Sinoform Kovid vaccine can be given to children between the ages of three and 17 years.
You will need a local phone number to register on the SEHA app. Visitors and tourists can book an appointment by calling the toll free number 80050. Synoform Booster Shots are now available at over 100 centers in Abu Dhabi. More than 87 percent of the vaccinated population has already been vaccinated as part of the National Immunization Campaign. The Ministry of Health and Immunization has given doses of the Kovid vaccine to more than 14.5 million people in the UAE.
