Mecca Masjid accommodates more people

Meanwhile, in Mecca, authorities allowed more people to offer prayers around Masjid al-Haram. Most of the facilities were set up in a situation where one lakh people were allowed to perform Umrah in a day. According to the new decision, people above 70 years will be allowed to enter the harem. Sixty thousand people are allowed to enter Masjid-ul-Haram for Namaz. It was in this context that the facilities in the harem were increased. People are admitted to the harem by checking the Immune Status and Permits of the Tawakkalna App. The new requirement is that once Umrah is performed, a re-permit has to be obtained within 15 days of the expiry of the first permit. It is not permissible to offer prayers in Masjid al-Haram for more than one day at a time. Next day booking can be done only after one day permit expires.
