US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, accused of sexually assaulting multiple women, should resign, Transmit CNN. The White House leader said he has maintained his position since March, when he said that if the New York State Attorney General’s investigation confirmed the sexual assault allegations, Andrew Cuomo should resign.
“Yes,” Joe Biden responded to reporters’ question whether Andrew Cuomo should resign over sexual assault allegations.
“I think he has to resign. I understand that the state legislature can start the impeachment process. I’m not sure. I haven’t read all the data,” Joe Biden said.
New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, a Democratic politician, “sexually harassed several women,” the US federal state attorney general, Letitia James, announced Tuesday, according to the findings of an independent investigation launched by the US judiciary.
“The independent investigation concluded that Governor Andrew Cuomo sexually assaulted multiple women and, in doing so, violated federal and New York law,” Letitia James said. The attorney general said Cuomo’s victims include “former and current” New York officials.

Andrew Cuomo, however, has denied the allegations. In a video posted on Twitter, he said that he did not make inappropriate gestures towards women and such things do not represent him.
