Joe Biden calls for the resignation of New York Governor Andrew Cuomo accused of sexual assault

US President Joe Biden said on Tuesday that New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, accused of sexually assaulting multiple women, should resign, Transmit CNN. The White House leader said he has maintained his position since March, when he said that if the New York State Attorney General’s investigation confirmed the sexual assault allegations, Andrew Cuomo should resign.

“Yes,” Joe Biden responded to reporters’ question whether Andrew Cuomo should resign over sexual assault allegations.

“I think he has to resign. I understand that the state legislature can start the impeachment process. I’m not sure. I haven’t read all the data,” Joe Biden said.

Andrew Cuomo, however, has denied the allegations. In a video posted on Twitter, he said that he did not make inappropriate gestures towards women and such things do not represent him.
