The German national team got a good draw for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
National coach Joachim Löw’s team meets Romania, Iceland, North Macedonia, Armenia and Liechtenstein in qualifying j. That was the result of a draw in Zurich on Monday. (World Cup 2018 results)
Only the group winner directly qualifies for the World Cup, which should be possible for the German team in their group. The qualifiers will be played between March and November 2021.

All in all, a possible group for the German team. Of course Romania, Iceland and Northern Macedonia are not to be underestimated, but there are no opponents against whom Germany is not a big favorite.
The Dutch group is comparatively more obnoxious with many opponents who are difficult to play. On the other hand, Group F is very similar with Denmark and Austria.

In this event, teams of 55 members of the European Football Association (UEFA) will be drawn into ten groups.
The qualification will be played from March to November 2021. Only ten group winners are definitely eligible for the final in December 2022. The two teams, determined by the group runner-up and the Nations League, will then fight for the remaining three spots of UEFA in March 2022.
Germany are ranked next as defending champions France, European champions Portugal, Belgium, Spain, Italy, England, Croatia, Denmark and the Netherlands as group heads. National coach Joachim Löw’s German national team is escaping from these countries.
