An employee of the Parkville-Carnegie Library branch also tested positive for the virus, which shut down the branch. On Thursday, the BCPLA announced that the Owings Mills branch had closed after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus. The Coxville Library branch has been closed as a precautionary measure after an employee tested for coronavirus on Friday. An employee of the Parkville-Carney Library branch also tested positive for the virus, and the branch closed.

On Thursday, BCPL announced that the Owings Mills branch had closed after a staff member tested positive for coronavirus.

The BCPL had consulted the health department to decide to close both the branches.

Curbside service and computer appointments will resume in the following days:

  • Parkville-Carney Branch: 10 Nov.
  • Coquisville Branch: 13 Nov.
  • Owings Mills Branch: Nov 19

Book drops will be open at both locations.
