Scotland ended their 6-nation tournament with a resounding win (14–10) in Wales. This success allows XV du Chardon to join Ireland with 14 points.
Nine months after the start of the 2020 edition, the 6 Nations tournament ends this Saturday, October 31. In the first three games of the day, the only one without a stake in the standings, fifth-placed Wales, was placed fourth. A meeting that allowed Welsh captain Alun Veen Jones to become the most capped international player in history, doubling Richie McCoy and his 148 cap. Scotland scored the first points in this game. After the first leg error at the start of the game, Finn Russell scored a penalty after ten minutes in the opening half of Charan XV. Welsh responded well in the 30th minute. A ball lost by Scotland on a touchdown benefited from an XV leak, which then led to the final line. After several rounds of uproar, Welsh column Rhys Carre forcefully flattened the ball between the poles. With the change, Dan Biggar allowed his team to pick up two more points.

Scotland ends in style
Finn Russell was out on injury (33rd), with his replacement Adam Hastings taking over on foot and a penalty just before half-time to bring his team to length. In the second half, Greg Townsend’s men captured their opponents’ camp. His efforts paid off in the 61st minute. After a touch, he executed a brilliant ball and pushed Welsh twelve meters above goal. A great collective action was done by hooker Stuart McInally. Adam Hastings failed to change the essay. The points left behind, leaving Alun Veen Jones and his teammates hopeful. It was reapplied five minutes after Scotland’s try, thanks to a penalty from Leah Hampney. A penalty from Stuart Hogg ultimately led Scotland to victory (14–10). Following the victory, Scotland won their first victory on Welsh soil since 2002. XV Do Chardon managed to win three consecutive wins in the tournament after starting with two defeats in particular. With fourteen points, the winner of the day is tied with Ireland at the top of the group before their duel against France’s XV. Meanwhile, Welsh performed brilliantly with a record of one win and four defeats.
